ERL Autumn-Winter 2022 Collection: “Days Of Glory”

Designed by Eli Russell Linnetz in Venice Beach, California, ERL is proud to present its fifth collection entitled ‘Days Of Glory’. For its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, ERL continues to expand the brand’s universe with offerings for men, women, and kids. 

The collection explores the cinematic story of a bedridden man reflecting on his days of glory. The splendour of growing up in American suburbia only to become ruined by his time at war. The struggles of living the American dream.

The full collection offers a wide range of silhouettes and fabrics exploring themes of teenage skater punks, life in the army, camouflage knitwear, star spangled denim, the fantasies of mania and PTSD. His trauma culminates in a feverish splendour of Christmas plaid silks and chaos. Shirting, trousers, dresses, skirts, knitwear, jackets, lounge wear, underwear and accessories are all included in this family affair. 

ERL’s classic garments are updated to feature bold new prints and star-spangled fabrics. Unisex graphic print T-shirts recall a simpler time in America, while cozy shearling jackets boast a playful rainbow gradient. The brands iconic puffers are rendered in quilted checker, all over skull print, camouflage and more, and Christmas plaid appears on everything from skirts and dresses to button-ups and pyjamas. 

ERL continues its partnership with Salomon for an explosive California offering of snowboards, skis, ski boots, snowboard boots and goggles. Each piece in the capsule is decorated with artwork by the legendary artist Gavin Hasegawa, who pioneered surfboard airbrushing in the 1970’s.

Together, this impressive collection puts forward a unique and playful perspective on the future of American fashion.
