Stone Island | Dover Street Market arrives Friday 29th November with a special installation by Ken-Tonio Yamamoto.

Stone Island and Dover Street Market celebrate 20 Years of DSM with an exclusive collaboration. This co-branded capsule reimagines three iconic styles from Stone Island’s AW 2004 collection, originally designed by Paul Harvey. Paying tribute to the year DSM first opened its’ doors, the collection bridges two decades of innovation and design.

Three exclusive outerwear pieces reinterpret the signature COMPACT silhouette, a design inspired by military aviators’ gear, known for its intricate string and loop system for body compression and a detachable lining adapted from sailing technology. Each piece showcases core research fabrics from Stone Island’s AW 2004 collection, including:

PANAMA RECYCLED OXIDE PLATING: Crafted from cotton scraps sourced from Stone Island’s production chain, reprocessed into new yarns with at least 50% recycled content.

GLASS COVER-TC: A polyester mesh protected by a semi-gloss polyurethane film. This garment-dyed fabric reveals a unique ‘under glass’ texture while offering moderate windproof and rainproof properties.

DAVID LIGHT-TC: A lightweight tela made with Japanese star-shaped cross-section polyester/polyamide yarns. Dyed under pressure at 130°C, the heat transforms the material’s texture, combining industrial precision with a distinctive feel.

Each piece is finished in total black and features a special DSM 20th Anniversary logo inside, visible only when the detachable liner is removed.

The collection is presented alongside a special installation by Ken-Tonio Yamamoto titled “WRAPPED I/8115” drawing inspiration from Stone Island’s legacy of material and colour innovation. A deconstructed garment dyeing machine is wrapped in the collection’s three fabrics, with ropes securing the materials—a direct reference to the original COMPACT design. Embedded within the surface are Stone Island’s signature trims, badges, and hardware, creating a layered tribute to the brand’s heritage.
